Christmas is no time to start home remodels but that is what we are doing now. I wouldn't recommend it! Kevin is painting this old dingy bathroom up stairs. He keeps hitting his head on the low ceiling and I keep trying not to breathe the fumes. Come morning and no one hear's from us, please check if we are ok, we may have been rendered unconscience from hitting our head or self- suffocation! Hahaha. Just kidding, Mom. We decided to paint the room yellow forgetting that with the blue floor and bathtub it is not a yellow room that we have, but a strange green. Alright class, what color does yellow and blue make....? Any color is better than the mess that was in here before. So I am thankful for the hard work preparations Kevin is doing for his mother's Christmas in for Kentucky Christmas. We will miss his dad (pop-pop) so much, but we are glad he is celebrating Christmas with Jesus! So, wrapping presents, baking cookies and preparing for the Christmas Play next week will all have to wait. We are busy.
Do not disturb!!!!
Since I am the only one to read your blogs, I sure am glad you were not really counting on me to check on you the next morning, since this is now Tuesday (3 days later that I read this! You might try that fume free paint next time.
ReplyDeleteI wish your mother-in-law could read this. That was very sweet what you wrote about them. I pray that she will have a wonderful time.
